7th grade math worksheets
Seventh graders work fluently with signed numbers: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers and other rational numbers. Sign rules that felt arbitrary become automatic with practice.
Equations get a second step (3x + 5 = 20), and percents are used to solve real problems. The worksheets below cover these core skills; earlier topics such as fractions and order of operations are worth reviewing from the 6th grade page.
What 7th grade students practice here
- Integer operations
- Two-step equations
- Percent problems
Every worksheet generates new problems each time, prints with an answer key on page 2, and can also be done online with instant checking. Teachers can send several of them as one online assignment, with no sign-up.
Pre-algebra
All pre-algebra worksheets- Adding and subtracting integers
Negative numbers are written in parentheses when they follow an operation sign, for example 5 − (−8).
Grade 6 – Grade 7 - Multiplying integers worksheets
Same signs give a positive product, different signs a negative one.
Grade 7 - Dividing integers worksheets
Each problem is built from a multiplication fact, so every quotient is a whole number.
Grade 7 - Percent of a number worksheets
Percentages are chosen so that answers are whole numbers, which keeps the focus on the method: 10% is one tenth, 25% is one quarter, 50% is one half..
Grade 6 – Grade 7 - Two-step equations
Each equation has the form ax + b = c or ax − b = c.
